Joana Brandão - JUPI
I Work in the areas of Circus, Theater and Performing Arts. In 2019 I finished the course in Interpretation and Animation Techniques, at the Professional School of Arts and Crafts, Chapitô, Lisbon. In addition to Performing Arts, I also studied Fine Arts, Drawing and Painting.
Since 2015 I have participated in regular courses and workshops with various masters in the arts of Clown, Object Manipulation and Balance, including: Tom Roos (BE); Jef Johnson (USA); Jan Dutler (DE); Enne Marx (BR); Eva Ribeiro (PT); Cie Doré (FR); Angi Amaya (ES) Tommaso Mortari (IT); Jorge Lix (PT); André Borges (PT) ... among others!
I also facilitate workshops and activities for children and teens in the circus area, especially in Juggling and Balancing Techniques.
I'am also investing in the areas of Magic and Physical Theater.
Two opportunities that will be very enriching for my work.
I am a clown, and I share good moments with my public. I wish to spread joy, reaching all people and contributing to a world in which we are all happier. I am also part of a social clown project, "Palhaços Visitadores", in which we visit elderly people in a context of isolation, providing them moments of sharing, love and joy.
